Self-Belief, Responsibility, and Cutting Through the Haze

As developers, we must take a step back and examine how our experiences and knowledge have shaped the way we think now.

When self-belief meets responsibility, it becomes a force that makes us do the work in the right manner. If not, it can blind us into believing we’re always right and feed a quiet narcissism or a “main character” way of seeing the world.

The only way to cut through the haze, distinguish reality from illusion, and continue to develop is to observe ourselves, challenge our presumptions, and read the influences around us.
